Student Aloha Program
Student Aloha was started in 1994 by Campaign Team Chair David H. McCoy to nurture future community leaders. It gives Oahu's students first-hand experience in fostering the values and joys of community service through fun and educational projects. Funds donated to Student Aloha go toward Aloha United Way's Community Safety Net, which touches roughly half a million people each year.
The 2007-2008 DOE Student Aloha Program is headed by Clayton Fujie, DOE Deputy Superintendent, and his wife, Gwen.
The Private School Student Aloha Program is represented by Betty White, Sacred Hearts Academy.
