Through our Donor Choice program, donors have an opportunity to direct their Aloha United Way campaign gift to eligible nonprofit organizations in the community. 

All agencies that apply and meet basic eligibility requirements may become a Partner Agency and will receive 100% of any donation designated to them through the Donor Choice program.  For those agencies that do not qualify as a Partner Agency, you may still designate to them through our Donor Choice Program, but they will be assessed a fee of 9%, which covers the cost of raising, processing, verifying and distributing of the funds.

Our Donor Choice Program also enables you to designate your gift to Aloha United Way's Impact Areas and our direct programs like 2-1-1 and Volunteer Hawaii.
