Aloha United Way has changed the methodology used to distribute the funds raised in our annual campaign.  We now focus our funding on five problem areas which were determined by a series of community-wide focus groups to be the most serious problems facing Oahu today. By focusing on a limited number of areas we hope to provide adequate funding to really make a difference – to really impact the underlying problem and lead to lasting improvement in our quality of life.

The five impact areas are:

• Crime & Drug Use
• Early Childhood Development
• Emergency & Crisis Services
• Financial Stability & Independence
• Homelessness
