MAHALO TO CENTRAL PACIFIC BANK FOR RAISING AND DONATING $61,200 TO ALOHA UNITED WAY!

November 3, 2009 - Central Pacific Bank employees presented their $61,200 donation to the Aloha United Way yesterday as a result of a month-long internal campaign that raised funds for people who are struggling with basic needs, such as food and shelter; for people with serious health afflictions and for struggling families within our community.

During the campaign, employees organized a silent auction featuring services provided
by fellow co-workers that ranged from stand-up paddling, dance or guitar lessons as well as
donated to dress casually on Fridays. Branches and departments also pooled individual
donations to provide a larger sum to the non-profit organization.
